Building the Future Together: An Important Moment in GOA's Story

Today marks an important moment in GOA’s story. Over the past seven years, we have evolved into a catalyst for schools preparing for the future of education, and we’re excited to launch a new mission that better represents the role we play as an essential building block of the modern school experience.

At GOA, we imagine a future where all students acquire and practice modern learning skills to be global citizens, and our new mission is an exciting step forward to achieving our vision.

• We deepen learning through courses that equip students with the knowledge, skills, and dispositions to be successful in high school, college, career, and life.
• We coach teachers to think differently about how they design student learning experiences.
• We work with educational leaders to ensure they have the strategies and tools to lead innovation and change.
  

To mark this occasion, we have launched a new website and logo that more accurately represent who we are today. The changes you’ll find on our new site highlight the ways we spark innovative work happening at schools with students and educators.

Our Student Program continues to grow, and we remain committed to the transformative learning experiences and relationships our teachers and students are building together. Our work begins and ends with students.

What’s new are many of the Professional Learning programs we’ve developed. Reaching more schools and educators will broaden the impact of what GOA has learned. Our Insights page offers the ideas and thought leadership that drive our programs. GOA is a rich resource for schools that see boundless opportunities ahead.

This is an exciting time to be in education! As schools and teachers are thinking deeply about designing environments that support learning, there is an intense focus among schools to be institutions of learning for everyone in our communities — students and adults alike. GOA is what happens when inspired teachers, innovative designers, and ambitious students adapt today’s classroom to tomorrow’s world.
