Cohort | Leading with Purpose: Developing a Portrait of a Graduate

A Portrait of a Graduate is designed to coalesce a community around important, relevant skills and mindsets that matter to students’ futures. A Portrait of a Graduate is foundational work in helping schools pursue ongoing growth and make decisions based on what they value for students. Through a series of four, one-hour Zooms, this cohort will explore the process for Portrait of a Graduate design. We’ll begin with the What and Why for a Portrait of a Graduate and then explore a replicable framework for bringing and adapting the Portrait of a Graduate process to participants’ communities. Supported by GOA facilitators, this cohort helps leaders plan their next steps in organizing their schools and districts around the essential skills, knowledge, and habits of mind that prepare students for the world beyond school.
