This in-person conference event will be from June 26-29, 2023, at Episcopal High School, Alexandria, Virginia, USA. Pricing includes three nights in a single-occupancy room at Episcopal High School, as well as all meals.
After a four-year hiatus, GOA's signature in-person conference is returning! This is an event designed for school-based teams, with learning pathways for both classroom educators and school leaders. Our 2023 focus is Designing for Agency.
Designing for Agency
We know from research and experience that agency is developed through intentional, ongoing attention to how we nurture a school culture, how we design learning environments and experiences, and how we approach relationships with students and colleagues. GOA’s 2023 Learning Summit will focus on developing the practical, day-to-day habits and strategies that ensure agency is at the heart of our work. The Summit offers both classroom educators and school leaders the chance to learn key research and practice related to agency and to apply, plan, and design for using those ideas in their schools.
