GOA Expands Its 2026-2027 Catalog with New AP and Elective Offerings

Global Online Academy (GOA) is excited to announce the largest single-year catalog expansion in the history of our organization for the 2026-2027 academic year. This expansion brings new AP® and elective offerings that extend interest-driven possibilities for students while supporting schools in meeting the evolving needs of their programs and communities. Each course has been thoughtfully selected to align with GOA's learning pathways and educational philosophy, providing students with meaningful opportunities to explore their passions and challenge themselves in globally connected, inquiry-driven learning environments. These additions reflect our ongoing commitment to reimagining learning in ways that empower students to thrive. Our full 2026-2027 course catalog will go live on our website in early December. A Message From GOA’s Executive Director - Wednesday, October 15, 2025

At GOA's launch in 2011, we offered five courses to 120 pioneering students. Today, your students have enrolled in GOA courses 29,280 times, exploring subjects that fuel their passions and expand their perspectives. Now we're ready to take our next big step together: eleven new courses launching for next year, our largest single-year expansion ever.

Over the years, you’ve told us how GOA fits into your schools: as another department, as a strategic partner, as a way to broaden opportunities for students. Your students have shown us what they’re looking for—courses that let them go deeper into their interests and discover new ones. This catalog expansion is our response to both.

For the first time, we're introducing carefully selected AP courses, designed with GOA’s principles of globally connected, inquiry-driven, and student-centered learning at the core. Every new course, AP and elective alike, aligns with our learning pathways and our commitment to cultivating curiosity, fostering connection, and promoting agency.

In the coming weeks, we’ll share the complete list of new courses and introduce the GOA faculty whose instructional design, teaching expertise, and passion will bring these offerings to life. Each addition to our catalog has been chosen to help your students tell their stories, stretch their thinking, and meet their goals.
