Engage in hands-on projects to understand the causes and effects of climate change, dive into public policy and equity debates, and analyze how these issues shape the experiences of diverse populations around the world. Your journey will finish with a student-led project, creating an action plan for change in your community.

Note: This course is a reimagined, redesigned, retitled version of the course that was called Climate Change & Global Inequality through the 2023-2024 school year. Students who have already taken Climate Change & Global Inequality should consider choosing a different course.
Students in GOA courses will need reliable access to a computer with webcam/microphone connections, an email address (preferably school-based), a Web-conferencing app (GOA courses use Zoom), and a Word processing app (GOA courses use Google’s G Suite). When necessary, alternative arrangements may be made. Some courses require additional materials which can be found here.
